Extreme Performance Bonding Primer

The Extreme Performance Bonding Primer is applied to virtually all non-corrosive areas of your home that have been properly prepared. This product will not be the color you choose for your home, but will usually be a light gray "guide coat" color that is easier to see during application and dries quickly. It is best to install the Extreme-Seal Sealant after the Bonding Primer is applied. Expect to see all joints and seams sealed with a thick bead of Extreme-Seal Sealant—a highly-adhesive flexible, and durable caulking compound. Special attention should be given to what we call “The Danger Zones”, or corner joints and edges of trim around windows and doors to prevent water intrusion. Failed or poor quality caulk should first be removed. Nails that have protruded should be reset, and holes filled with Extreme-Seal Sealant. No joints or seams should be left unprotected as this is the most common point of entry for damaging water intrusion.

For example, if you have rough-sawn cedar, you will see the grain and texture after application, or if you have stucco, your home will still look like stucco.
